Jarrett Walker’s Transit Lecture Available for Viewing

IMG_3240July was a busy month for transit and it started off with a visit from Jarrett Walker, international expert and consultant for transit systems in cities around the world. More than 200 people packed the lecture hall inside the Tucson Electric Power building on Broadway to hear Walker’s thoughts on how to increase frequency and expand on Tucson’s already high-performing transit network. Several transit-focused community organizations including Tucson Bus Riders’ Union, Southern Arizona Transit Advocates, Friends of the Tucson Streetcar, and Transit Talks were present to share information and collect feedback from the public on ways to improve transit for everyone.
