Holiday Cheer & Merry-making
December 17, 2011 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm| FREE for LSA members, $5 suggested donation for non-members
What an amazing first year this has been!
We are grateful for all of the support you have provided in helping get Living Streets Alliance off the ground in 2011 and we’d like to say THANK YOU! Join us in celebration of this wonderful community on Saturday, December 17th from 6-9pm for some holiday cheer and merry-making. Food, drink and fun provided. Downtown will be abuzz with people enjoying festivities in the streets that evening. If you’re going to the Parade of Lights, stop by and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and a tamale.
Also, our friends over at BICAS have invited us all to join them in the Parade of Lights. For the last several years, BICAS has had the honor of carrying Santa Claus on a bicycle powered sleigh, accompanied by Santa’s reindeers and elves. They need you to help create the mood! Come dressed up as an elf, a reindeer, or just one of Santa’s bicycle-riding friends. We strongly suggest you bring a helmet, blinky lights for you and the bike, and anything else festive and fun to deck out your ride. Meet in the parking lot at BICAS at 4pm to add one final decoration or adjust your lights and then head over, as a group, to the starting line at 5:00 pm sharp!
