Kidical Mass is back!  After 150 kids and families showed up for our inaugural Kidical Mass earlier this year, we’ve been itching to do it again.  Over the next 6 months, we’ll host 4 events in partnership with El Grupo!

Kidical Mass is a group ride that happens throughout the country, providing safety in numbers for families of all sizes.  Comfort in numbers encourages participants to try riding a bike with children.  This free event is a great opportunity to meet other bicycle-friendly parent and families, while enjoying a beautiful fall day in the southwest.  For more information on the history of Kidical Mass, visit www.kidicalmass.org.

The ride will begin and end at the Tucson Children’s Museum, 200 South 6th Avenue, and will follow parts of the Cyclovia route along 8th Avenue and Barrio Historico. We will stop for a break and a chance to play at Santa Rosa Park before heading back to the museum for treats.

If you plan on coming, please let us know, as we’ll be planning for a variety of treats and giveaways for participating kids and want to make sure we don’t run out!

This event is made possible in part thanks to Performance Bikes of Tucson, the Outdoor Foundation and Merrell.
