Looking for a way to reduce your car dependence?
Tired of the increasingly high costs of owning and operating a car?
What if there was a way to improve your finances and your health with a simple change in your lifestyle?
It’s easier than you think.
Living Streets Alliance presents a new opportunity to help you kick the car habit for a better life. We’re in the process of developing a fun class that will allow you to reduce your car use, become a one-car family, or even go car-free! We’ll introduce you to Tucson’s transportation tools, and help you create a two-week blueprint that helps you adjust your routine to put your Low Car Diet into effect.
Everyone who registers for the class will receive a copy of How to Live Well Without Owning a Car, by Chris Balish, a well-written and practical companion guide to comfortable car-free and car-light living.
Beginning in 2013 we hope to host a class each month, hosted by a rotating Tucson City Council Ward Office. Check back soon for the full schedule.
