5 Reasons to Vote No on Props 418 & 419
This March, Pima County voters will decide the future of our transportation system for the next 20 years. Propositions 418 and 419, together known as RTA Next, would extend the regional sales tax and lock our community into a flawed transportation plan for a generation.
Ballots are arriving in mailboxes as soon as this week. Once this plan is approved, there’s no easy undo button.
RTA Next takes our region in the wrong direction.

Apply for a Safe Streets Mini Grant!
Tucson's Safe Streets Mini-Grant Program is now accepting applications for 2027 projects. The program establishes an inclusive, community-led process to deliver traffic calming improvements to residential neighborhoods across the city, prioritizing under-resourced areas that could not otherwise fund their own traffic calming improvements via the existing Neighborhood Traffic Management Program. Neighborhood safety improvements include traffic circles, chicanes, speed humps, and other traffic calming features.

Each month we highlight a community partner or supporter who helps make this work possible. This month, we're celebrating bicycle and outdoor enthusiasts, Epic Rides, where every day is a good day to be on a bike! Epic Rides is a longtime business partner of LSA and you've probably seen them at past Cyclovia events handing out goodies and sharing information about their upcoming events. Right around the corner on February 13th-15th, catch the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo #24HOP. Participant registration is full but there's still time to sign up as a volunteer, which gives you access to the event!
