“Roll with the Mayor” Breakfast + Protected Bike Lane Ribbon-Cutting
April 28, 2015 @ 7:00 am - 8:30 amFREE
Join Mayor Jonathan Rothschild at this free breakfast event sponsored and hosted by Whole Foods Speedway and then accompany him on two wheels downtown to the ribbon cutting ceremony of Tucson’s first curb-protected bike lane! The event is open to anyone on their bikes going to work, to school, to run errands…or just hop on your bike and join us for breakfast and/or the ribbon-cutting ceremony! (If you’re commuting a different direction and can’t ride with the Mayor you can still roll on over for breakfast at Whole Foods.)
A FREE yummy breakfast will be served between 7:00 am and 8:00 am to get our wheels turning. The Mayor’s ride will leave Whole Foods at 7:45am and head downtown via the University/3rd Street Bike Boulevard.
Please note: We’ll be riding along the route of the modern streetcar at various points. If you’re not familiar with riding on the street with streetcar tracks, please see the Living Streets Alliance Streetcar Safety Tips page before the ride.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to help us give Whole Foods a count.
