Tucson, AZ (October 20, 2025) — Living Streets Alliance invites people of all ages and abilities to Cyclovia Tucson on Sunday, October 26th from 9 AM to 3 PM. Streets on the Cyclovia Thrive in the 05 route will be temporarily closed to car traffic and open to people to walk, roll, bike, and play.
Six hours and 3.5 miles of car-free streets are great, but why stop there? Make Cyclovia Sunday a car-lite or entirely car-free day by taking advantage of free transit, bike routes, or micromobility to get to and from the event. Here are ways to plan your route and make it happen:
Give transit a try—it’s free!
Sun Tran Bus Lines 5, 9, 10, 16 and 19 all have stops directly crossing or within walking distance of the route, and all buses have racks in the front if you want to bring your bicycle with you. You can find directions by using Google Maps from your house to your arrival destination and selecting the transit mode. Sun Tran also has an online trip planner tool that’s easy to use. Bonus: Sun Tran will also be stationary at the event, located at the Old Pascua Hub, so you can practice putting your bike on and off their racks, pressure free, during the event.
Ride a bike
If you want to bike to Cyclovia, you can utilize one of the City’s low-stress routes (Bicycle Boulevards) to get to the event. The 9th Ave/Castro Bicycle Blvd brings you directly to the Bronx Park Hub, and the 3rd St/University Bicycle Blvd will bring you to the northern end of the route in the Dunbar Spring Neighborhood. Find and plan your route at: https://tinyurl.com/F25cycloviamap. And don’t forget to take advantage of free bike repair at all Activity Hubs and free youth helmets at Info Booths.
Share a bike or scooter
Micromobility is perfect for making short distance connections. Find a scooter near you or grab a Tugo and you can leave it at the event. Tugo Bikeshare has made rentals from nearby stations free for the day! Check out their map of stations across Tucson to see the docking station closest to your home. Stop by their permanent station at the Arizona Complete Health/Pima Community College Hub or the pop-up station at Old Pascua Hub to pick up a bike to cruise the route with.
