Cyclovia Moments That Made Us Smile
From dancing in the streets and painting murals to cruising on bikes and connecting with neighbors, our Fall Cyclovia: Thrive in the 05 was bursting with community spirit, creativity, and fun.
Next month we'll have a full recap including stats gathered through our Cyclovia Census. In the meantime, re-live October 26th through the joyful lens of photographers Kathleen Dreier and Mamta Popat. What a day and thank you for being a part of it!

This October, we welcomed to the team our new Safe Routes Manager, Ellie Kaszniak! Ellie has been a longtime friend of LSA and she already may be a familiar face. From leading after-school bike clubs, fixing bikes at our Mobile Bike Repair events, or managing a Hub at Cyclovia, Ellie brings LSA knowledge and so much more to the team. We're delighted to have her leading the Safe Routes programming. Welcome, Ellie!

Apply for a Safe Streets Mini Grant!
Tucson's Safe Streets Mini-Grant Program is now accepting applications for 2026 projects. The program establishes an inclusive, community-led process to deliver traffic calming improvements to residential neighborhoods across the city, prioritizing under-resourced areas that could not otherwise fund their own traffic calming improvements via the existing Neighborhood Traffic Management Program. Neighborhood safety improvements include traffic circles, chicanes, speed humps, and other traffic calming features.
Deadline to apply: December 31, 2025

Each month we highlight a community partner or supporter who helps make this work possible. This month, we're celebrating our longstanding Business Partner and downtown neighbor, Tap & Bottle. T&B has been host to many Living Streets Alliance events, and this December 2nd, they will be donating 10% of all proceeds of their downtown location (dine-in or pick-up) to LSA for Giving Tuesday.
Every week, Tap & Bottle features live music, community events like spelling bees, karaoke and yoga, as well as some of the best selection of spirits in town. Swing by one of their four locations and we hope you join us on Tuesday, December 2nd!
